Bilal Khan's vlogs are becoming all the rage now!

Bilal Khan, one of those rising stars whose claim to fame has happened in a very short period of time. Remember his single Bachana? The song still echoes in our ears an we absolutely love the sound of it. From Bachana to Coke Studio and then Sammi, Bilal Khan has had a wonderful ride to stardom. These days, the young lad is preparing for his part to begin in Hum TV's new serial Khamoshi.

But this guy has more talent that what he's just portrayed onscreen. Just 3 months ago, randomly Bilal shot his first vlog and had us excited to the bone. He talked about his acting stint in Sammi and his character and then moved onto a few more exciting revelations.

'LIVE FROM AN EMPTY ROOM" is what he called one of them. And there will be more. One of our favorites from all Bilal vlogs featured the singer/actor alongside Sajal Aly, Asad Siddiqui, Zara Noor Abbas and other of his close friends and watching it made us miss our own buddies.

Another one was done from the sets of Khamoshi where Zara and Bilal read out audience comments live and then congratulated Zara on her engagement. There were lots of aww moments in that particular vlog and we absolutely loved it.

Bilal's vlogs have everything his fans would love to know about their favorite star. He goes on talking about his characters, he sings and jams with his friends and make revelations about his life in specific. And now, he has us hooked onto his 19th vlog, where Bilal shares the details of his meeting with IK and all that went during it. And yes, its not to be missed.

Sanam Marvi and Hasan Ali emote beautifully with their vocals for Malkin's OST

Rather than singles or music albums, we have lately been looking forward to drama OSTs because they certainly bring about pieces that are absolutely melodious. Recall the beautiful OST of drama Sun Yaara or Sanam and you'll get what we're talking about here.

Today, we've been hooked onto the latest OST for the drama Malkin on Geo. Sung beautifully by Sanam Marvi and Hasan Ali, this one is a simple song that's beautiful in its entirety. Asim Azhar and Qasim Azhar have worked really well to create a musical score that sounds pleasing to the ears and also highlights the beauty of Marvi's and Ali's vocals, rather than drowning them.

The OST of Malkin is simple, with a great recall value and that we believe is a win for any and every song that comes out. It's refreshing to hear Sanam Marvi try something different for a change. Her high notes sound absolutely pleasant to the ears with the soft touch in this track and we love just the hint of folk-ish tune to her vocals.

All in all, Malkin's OST is a winner without a doubt. It tops in music and vocals with high grades and is definitely going to be on our repeat playlist now.

Maria Wasti Promotes Malkin On Geo Subah Pakistan

Maria Wasti is coming back into the drama game after some time and we are expecting a powerful performance from the diva who has done some very memorable roles to date. Her intensity and passion makes it hard not to becoming empathetic with whatever character she is playing, including the black and white and all the shades of grey in between.

She was a guest in Shaista Lodhi’s morning show yesterday with co stars Alyy Khan and Samina Ahmed and together they discussed what the essence of their new drama Malkin is. The conversation got quite candid as it flew from the notions of drama to the real life as we all navigate our lives with different relationships and the conflicts and turmoils that creates. Maria was candid in her opinions of how she thinks problems develop and how they should be resolved. Shaista was inquisitive about her opinion as well as those of her audience to understand how people think relatives and especially inlaws can be handled appropriately. Alyy Khan was his usual calm and deep self and gave some very philosophical insight into the issue.

Samina Ahmed obviously brought forth her wisdom of the years into the situation. Together they made up for an interesting watch regarding the problems human beings especially married couples in our society face on a daily basis.

Fun facts you never knew about Shahroz Sabzwari!

Shahroz Sabzwari recently made his silver screen debut and even though the film received criticism or struggled at box office, we appreciate this dedicated and much talented young lad to stand steadfast with his film throughout.
Coming a long way from his television debut, Shahroz might have evolved as an actor but remains the same young and carefree dude at heart, and that's exactly what we love about this guy. We remember his stint in Karachi High, where the lad gave us 'burger' boy goals with his classy acting.
You must have seen Shahroz in various television projects but do you think you know who Shahroz is as a person? HIP got in touch with the lad himself and dug out some facts that Shahroz seems to have not shared with the media ever before.
So here's Shahroz Sabzwari like never before guys, especially for you!
Shahroz is a gaming freak!

"I get up for work early but sleep very late as night is the only time I can do my gaming," confesses the man himself.
The dude works hard for his lean physique

"I workout 7 days a week, 3 hours everyday spread throughout the day," tells Shahroz.
Dad is the boss

As Shahroz confessed, he cannot utter a word in front of his Dad. Seems like the sweet daddy-o is the boss at home!
Shahroz has a motto, "Say no to caffeine!"

"I don't smoke and I do not take any sort of caffeine as well, no tea, no coffee!" Shahroz confesses.
The dude's anger takes inspiration from HULK!

When he's nice, he's the nicest, most coolest of guys you've ever seen. "It takes a lot with a capital A to make me angry, but if I'm angry I'm no good than Hulk!" tells the Karachi High superstar.

DGR reached Karachi and Karachi roared!

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a global motorcycle fund-raising event with gentlefolk riding their classic vintage style motorcycles to raise awareness of cancer and male suicide prevention. Inspired by a photo of Mad Men’s Don Draper on a classic bike in a fine suit the ride was founded in 2012 by Mark Hawwa in Sydney.

Karachi officially became a part of DGR 2017 and the event was held yesterday (24th of September) since it’s customarily scheduled in the last week of September.

While many of us dozed off and enjoyed a lazy Sunday some of the celebrities including Mohib Mirza, Faysal Qureshi, Aijaz Aslam and Azekah Daniel attended the charity event and the pictures from the event scream “A DAY WELL SPENT”.

The goal for 2017 is to raise awareness and $5m for cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of charity partner the Movember Foundation. We hope DGR achieves what it set out to achieve and wish them luck for future endeavors.

Dua Malik And Nadia Hussain Discuss The Experience Of Hajj With Shaista Lodhi

Dua Malik and Nadia Hussain were among the lucky crowd of Muslims from all over the world who performed Hajj this year in 2017. This beautiful journey is obligatory on every able Muslim and those who have completed it always describe as a life changing experience.

These two celebrities were called by Shaista Lodhi on her show Geo Subah Pakistan yesterday. They were welcomed with garlands and a massive feast prepared for them, like the norm of inviting the hajjis for honorary meals to congratulate the end of this rite of passage that they have just covered.

They spoke about the immensely spiritual and unearthly experience it was for them. Both of them had left behind their kids in Pakistan and despite wanting to return to them, they were very moved by the spirituality they experienced on their blessed stay in Makkah and Medina.

There were a lot of tears in the show, both by the hostess and the guests as they recalled the close proximity they felt with Almighty during those days. One thing that particularly moved Nadia Hussain was the realisation of the honour that Allah hadn’t bestowed upon mothers as he made every Muslim take the to and fro journey between Safa and Mawra which Hajrah (peace be upon her) undertook in order to find some water for her infant. Dua Malik also made Shaista and Nadia cry as she recounted all that she felt and saw there.

May Allah accept it from them and all the Muslims who were lucky enough to have completed this entourage.

Mahira Khan And Ranbir Kapoor’s Shocking Pictures

Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were in the news once before too when they met at a ceremony. Many people said a lot of things about these two being together but it sounded nothing more than a baseless rumor at that time. Once again Ranbir praised Mahira Khan for her beauty in an interview that had nothing to do with Mahira.

This time around these leaked pictures of Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor show the two actors having a smoke somewhere in the city of New York!

So Internet went crazy when some pictures of Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor leaked while they were smoking on a street in NYC.

Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’ to include Rap Song on Women Empowerment?

Shoaib Mansoor, the man behind the blockbusters like Khuda Ke Liye and Bol, is set to come back with another potential hit Verna. It is written and directed by Shoaib himself and has Mahira Khan featuring in the lead role.

Through the poster and some talks about the movie online, we get a feeling that the topic of the movie is around women empowerment, not to forget the poster has secret messages which highlight this.

While we wait for Verna’s trailer, we got some very interesting news about the songs of the movie.

Rumored to be titled, “Power Di Game” is a rap song sung by a Pakistani rapper Xploymer Dar, from the crew Rap Engineers.

Talking to The Express Tribune, Dar said,
“I WAS CALLED BY SHOAIB MANSOOR HIMSELF, AND WE WORKED ON THE SONG TOGETHER. I INITIALLY WROTE THE SONG AND THEN SHOAIB MODIFIED IT.”
He added,
“THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH THE LEGENDARY DIRECTOR IS ABSOLUTELY SURREAL. HE’S BRILLIANT AT WHAT HE DOES. I WAS ACTUALLY AT EASE WHILE HE RE-WROTE THE LYRICS TO MY SONG,”

The song is said to have some hidden messages for the listeners. On the other hand, while talking about her film, Verna, Mahira informed, The Express Tribune, that even Verna would revolve around a social issue.

“HIS FILMS ALWAYS DO REVOLVE AROUND A CERTAIN SOCIAL ISSUE/TABOO, YES THIS FILM DOES THE SAME.”
Mahira further added;
, “IN BOL HE WANTED ME TO JUST BE MYSELF, I DON’T THINK I’LL HAVE IT THAT EASY THIS TIME! I HOPE HE CAN MANAGE TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN ME AND I AM READY TO GIVE IT ALL I’VE GOT. INSHAALLAH.”

Wishing Mahira and SHOMAN productions all the best, we can’t wait for the trailer to come out.
