Our content
makers are insistent on bringing new and improved content to screens each time.
And while endeavoring to do this, they come up with new talent every now and
then. This time producer Seema Tahir has uncovered another talented beauty; who
might have stayed away from the limelight till now but she's learnt it from
those who ruled the industry once.
We're
talking about the upcoming beauty Shaista Abbas, the veteran Meera Jee's
younger sister. The girl is all set to conquer television screens and become
the queen of hearts just like the elder sister ruled once. Starring alongside
the handsome and very talented Shahroz Sabzwari, Shaista Abbas is all set to
make her acting debut with an upcoming serial titled Seep.
"The
upcoming serial, titled Seep, is a Seema Tahir production and is being directed
by Barkat Siddiqui. Seep is written by Samra Bukhari, the same writer who wrote
the Gul-e-Rana masterpiece. That's part of the reason why I said yes to this
play. Samra Bukhari's plays are simply amazing. Also Barkat Siddiqui is
directing after a long time, so it's a good opportunity to learn from where it
comes best."
On working
with Shaista Abbas, a newcomer to the industry, Shahroz expresses delight over
her talent and humble nature. "Shaista is a very nice girl. She's much
talented, very educated and down to earth. Its been a wonderful experience
sharing screen with her," adds the Teri Raza actor.
According to
Shahroz, the story revolves around a rich man, who has lost all his riches, but
still doesn't accept his changed circumstances and continues to treat all
others below him. "We're currently working on the scenes and if all goes
well, the play is expected to go on air by January 2018," says Shahroz.
